Ingredients

The Cocktail
  • 2 cl Gin
  • 2 cl Green Chartreuse
  • 2 cl Luxardo Maraschino
  • 2 cl Lime juice freshly squeezed
  • Ice cubes for shaking
Garnish
  • 1 Maraschino cherry

Equipment

  • 1 Nick & Nora glass / coupe glass
  • 1 Shaker
  • 1 Strainer
  • 1 Fine strainer
  • 1 Jigger
  • 1 Bar Spoon

Method

Preparation
  1. Chill your Nick & Nora or coupe glass with ice or place it in a freezer. Remove the ice from the glass before serving
  2. Prepare your garnish by rinsing the maraschino cherry.
Instructions
  1. Add equal parts of gin, green chartreuse, maraschino liqueur and freshly squeezed lime juice to a shaker.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice.
  3. Shake hard for 8-12 seconds.
  4. Double strain into a chilled Nick & Nora glass.
  5. Add the maraschino cherry to the bottom of the glass and serve immediately.

Common Mistakes

Avoid under shaking the cocktail. Because the drink contains several strong liqueurs it needs proper dilution. A hard shake for around 8–12 seconds helps soften the alcohol and bring the ingredients together into a balanced cocktail.
